Aurelien Tchouameni appears ready to join Manchester United if Real Madrid no longer considers him a factor in their long-term plans.
After failing to secure the signature of Elliot Anderson, the Old Trafford side turned their attention to Tchouameni. The player is evaluated by the board as a top target to upgrade the midfield.

Alongside that, the French international’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is also becoming hard to predict. Despite having recently signed a new contract with Real Madrid, that does not mean he is guaranteed to stay long-term at the Spanish Royal club.
According to AS, Real Madrid is planning a midfield overhaul. Manager Jose Mourinho wants to bring Rodri from Manchester City to the Bernabeu, while also pursuing young talent Yan Diomande. If these deals succeed, it is almost inevitable that Tchouameni will face fiercer competition for a starting spot.
Therefore, El Larguero reports that the 26-year-old midfielder is open to considering an offer from MU if Real Madrid confirms he is no longer in their long-term plans. However, Tchouameni’s top priority remains continuing to play in Spain and maintaining an important role in “Los Blancos”‘ lineup.
On MU’s side, the leadership remains determined to pursue the deal despite obstacles. The Manchester club believes they can persuade both Real Madrid and Tchouameni that a move to Old Trafford would be a fitting step for all parties.
Should he arrive at MU, Tchouameni would bring solidity and strength to the midfield thanks to his interception ability, ball recovery, and top-level battle experience in La Liga and the Champions League. He is also viewed as an ideal piece to elevate the “Red Devils”‘ midfield.
