According to The Guardian, US authorities have opened an investigation and requested FIFA to provide numerous documents, including records, correspondence, payments, gifts, benefits, as well as office access logs for Mr. Infantino during the relevant periods.
The US side is also focusing on reviewing the ticket distribution policy for the 2026 World Cup, particularly FIFA’s implementation of the “dynamic pricing” model.
