Lamine Yamal has achieved another remarkable milestone for Spain after scoring early against Czechia, completing a rare three-game international scoring run not seen for more than eight years.
Lamine Yamal Makes History With Spain After Incredible Three-Game Scoring Feat
Lamine Yamal has written another piece of history with Spain after completing an exceptional scoring achievement during the 3-1 Nations League victory over Czechia.

The Barcelona superstar opened the scoring after only six minutes with a brilliant left-footed finish.
But the goal was much more important than simply giving Spain the lead.
It meant Yamal had now scored inside the opening six minutes in three consecutive international matches.
Yamal completes rare international achievement
Yamal has started Spain’s latest three Nations League matches in remarkable fashion.
Against England, he scored after only two minutes.
He then repeated the achievement against Croatia, again finding the net in the second minute.

Against Czechia, Yamal needed slightly longer, but still scored after just six minutes.
His incredible run therefore looks like this:
vs England: 2nd minute
vs Croatia: 2nd minute
vs Czechia: 6th minute
According to statistics highlighted after the match, Yamal became the first player in more than eight years to score within the opening six minutes in three consecutive international appearances.
A feat not seen since 2018
The last player reported to achieve something similar was Anton Zemlianukhin of Kyrgyzstan between late 2017 and early 2018.
That makes Yamal’s achievement extremely rare at international level.

It is important to note that he is not the first player in football history to do it.
However, no player had repeated the feat for more than eight years.
For Yamal, it is another major achievement in a career already filled with records.
Another perfect start for Spain
Yamal once again gave Spain exactly the start they wanted against Czechia.
The winger received the ball in a dangerous position before producing a superb left-footed finish into the top corner.

The goal immediately put Spain in control.
Czechia later caused problems, but La Roja eventually secured a 3-1 victory and continued their excellent Nations League campaign.
Yamal has now scored the opening goal for Spain in three consecutive matches.
Four goals in three Nations League matches
Yamal’s overall numbers in the competition have also been impressive.
After three Nations League matches, he has recorded:
4 goals
1 assist
Those numbers underline how important he has become to Spain’s attack.
Despite still being one of the youngest players in the squad, Yamal is now regularly producing decisive moments at international level.
Spain continue perfect Nations League start
The victory over Czechia also maintained Spain’s perfect record in the competition.
La Roja have collected nine points from their opening three matches.

They have also continued to produce strong attacking performances despite changes to the starting XI.
Yamal, however, remains one of the biggest attacking threats in the team.
His ability to create chances, beat defenders and score from difficult positions gives Spain something different in the final third.
Another record in Yamal’s growing collection
This is far from the first time Yamal has entered the record books.
The Barcelona youngster has already broken several records for both club and country.
But his latest achievement shows another side of his game.

It is not only about becoming the youngest player to reach certain milestones.
Yamal is now producing performances that are rare for players of any age.
Spain increasingly depend on Yamal
Yamal’s importance to the national team continues to grow.
Opponents know he is one of Spain’s main attacking threats, but stopping him has become increasingly difficult.
His speed, movement and ability to cut inside onto his left foot can create danger almost immediately after kick-off.
The last three matches have provided perfect evidence of that.
Three games, three early goals and another place in international football history.
Yamal shows no signs of slowing down
Spain still have a long way to go in the Nations League, but Yamal has already become one of the major stories of their campaign.
His early goals against England, Croatia and Czechia have helped Spain take control of matches almost immediately.
And his latest strike has now placed him alongside a very small group of players to achieve such a rare international scoring run.
For Lamine Yamal, another record has fallen, and his remarkable rise with Spain continues.
