Bruno Fernandes has reportedly promised to remain fully committed to Manchester United after holding private talks with manager Michael Carrick following their recent disagreement.

According to The Guardian and Sky Sports, the Portuguese midfielder met Carrick at United’s Carrington training ground on October 27.

The meeting came after Fernandes publicly questioned the manager’s tactics following United’s embarrassing 4-1 Champions League defeat against Como.

Now, both sides appear ready to move forward and focus on helping Manchester United recover from their disappointing results.

During the meeting, Fernandes reportedly assured Carrick that he remains fully committed to helping the team improve.

The two discussed their recent disagreement and agreed to focus on the club’s future.

The entire Manchester United squad also held a separate meeting, with players promising to improve their performances.

However, it remains unclear whether Fernandes personally apologised to Carrick for his earlier comments.

Bruno Fernandes could return against Chelsea

The situation became serious when Carrick left Fernandes on the bench during United’s 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth on October 25.

The Portuguese international did not play a single minute, raising questions about his relationship with the manager.

However, the latest developments suggest Fernandes could return to the starting lineup when United face Chelsea on October 31.

Sky Sports reports that the midfielder is once again being considered for selection following the positive meeting.

Will Bruno Fernandes stay at Manchester United?

The latest news comes amid growing speculation about Fernandes’ future at Old Trafford.

Despite recent criticism and transfer rumours, the 32-year-old has made it clear privately that his immediate priority is helping Manchester United improve.

However, his commitment does not mean he has signed a new contract or officially ruled out a future transfer.

For now, Fernandes appears determined to put the controversy behind him and help Manchester United return to winning ways.

With Carrick still under pressure, the upcoming Chelsea clash could be an important moment for both the manager and his captain.
