Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed that the 31-year-old has been charged following an investigation into the incident.

The investigation relates to a crash involving Sterling’s Lamborghini on the M3 near Minley Interchange in Hampshire on May 28.

The winger is now due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on September 15.
