Harry Kane’s penalty streak was ended this weekend as he missed a penalty as footage comes out showing the spot being scuffed.
Kane’s first half penalty against Wolfburg flew wide on Saturday afternoon in what was an extremely rare miss from the Bayern star who almost slipped as he took his shot.
The England captain had scored all 10 of his previous spot-kicks in the league and had fired in 24 consecutive penalties in all competitions before the Wolfsburg strike that stunned many fans.

However, television replays showed Wolsburg player Jeanuël Belocian deliberately trampling the penalty spot before the kick was taken, an act many on social media have deemed to be cheating.
When asked afterwards if he deliberately tried to sabotage the area, Wolfsburg defender Belocian replied: “Yes, that was easy.”
This is whilst his teammate Patrick Wimmer admitted their side were willing to use “dirty little tricks” against Bayern as they seek to avoid relegation.
“Whether that’s why it happened to Harry Kane, we don’t know, maybe it was down to his boots.”
Kane’s miss became irrelevant when Michael Olise struck 11 minutes after the break to given Bayern a 1-0 win at the Volkswagen Arena, handing the Bundesliga champions a 16 point lead at the top of the table.
Kane is still the Bundesliga’s top scorer this term by a comfortable margin with Stuttgart’s Denis Undav being 14 goals behind the England captain this season.
