Kylian Mbappe has officially moved deeper into Champions League history after scoring in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Inter Milan.
The French superstar found the net at the Bernabéu and reached another major milestone in Europe’s biggest club competition.
Mbappe now has 71 Champions League goals, drawing level with legendary Real Madrid striker Raúl González.
That moves him into joint-fifth place on the competition’s all-time scoring list.

Mbappe opened the scoring for Real Madrid against Inter after being presented with an opportunity inside the penalty area.
He made no mistake.
The goal was his 71st in the Champions League.
That total puts him level with Raúl, one of the most iconic scorers in Real Madrid and Champions League history.
Mbappe has now reached a position occupied by only a tiny group of the competition’s greatest-ever attackers.

After reaching 71 goals, the list above Mbappe is now remarkably short.
