Olise’s unusual behavior has caused concern among Bayern fans

Michael Olise unexpectedly deleted all posts related to Bayern Munich on social media, sparking further speculation about the possibility of joining Real Madrid after the 2026 World Cup.

While battling with the French national team at the 2026 World Cup, Michael Olise became the center of the transfer market with a highly curious action. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder wiped out all posts related to Bayern Munich on his personal page. Currently, his account only has a photo album marking his World Cup debut against Senegal, where Olise was voted player of the match by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

This move comes right at the time when Real Madrid is closely following the French star. According to Spanish media, the royal team considers Olise as one of the top targets for their rebuilding plan under Jose Mourinho.

This is not the first time Olise has caught fans’ attention by “cleaning up” his social media. When he was still playing for Crystal Palace and linked with Chelsea, he also performed a similar action. Although the deal to Stamford Bridge was unsuccessful, Olise later left England to join Bayern Munich anyway.

This coincidence leaves Bayern fans inevitably worried. However, the German team’s board of directors quickly sent a tough message. President Herbert Hainer affirmed: “Olise still has a long-term contract until 2029. Bayern is not a selling club. If Real Madrid wants to send an offer, they can save their time.”

Bayern’s stance is completely well-founded. Last season, Olise was one of the most effective attacking players in Europe with 22 goals and 31 assists after 52 matches. In the 2026 World Cup opening match against Senegal alone, he contributed two assists, helping the French team win 3-1.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is still operating actively in the transfer market. After recruiting Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, and Ibrahima Konate, the Bernabeu home team also seems to be preparing an offer worth more than 100 million euros for Enzo Fernandez.
