Cristiano Ronaldo is set to step into a new role as both a producer and an actor in a television series centered on the hidden corners of English football.
According to The Sun, the former Manchester United forward is a producer of the series titled “Day 1s”. The show revolves around the fictional story of Stanley Dalton, a top football agent played by actor Damian Lewis.

Filming has already begun at the home ground of Barnet FC in north London. Ronaldo, 41, will directly feature in the show alongside another familiar figure in world football, Thierry Henry. The former Arsenal striker will also appear in the project.
“Day 1s” is loosely based on Darren Dein, Henry’s real-life agent. The project is expected to generate massive appeal on streaming platforms thanks to the presence of top names from both football and cinema.
The series comes from UR Marv Studios, a company co-founded by Ronaldo alongside renowned director Matthew Vaughn, the mastermind behind films like Kingsman and Kick-Ass. The film studio aims to reshape traditional approaches in the movie industry. Matthew Vaughn once praised Ronaldo as a creator of extraordinary stories on the pitch and expressed hope of producing inspiring works together with him.
Alongside Damian Lewis and Henry, the show also features British rapper Dave and young actress Carlotta Banat.
Following the 2026 World Cup, Ronaldo continues to maintain his global appeal. He scored 3 goals for the Portugal national team at the tournament, currently serves as captain of Al Nassr, and boasts over 1 billion followers across social media platforms. From a footballer, Ronaldo is gradually building the image of a global entrepreneur and content creator. Cinema is the latest step in the Portuguese superstar’s brand expansion journey.
