Brazilian star Vinícius (Real Madrid) is enjoying a vacation after the 2026 World Cup, but he has become a hot topic of discussion on social media. The reason is his distinct appearance following cosmetic surgery.
According to the Brazilian news site TMC, Vinícius recently underwent a chin contouring procedure at a clinic in Goiânia, Brazil. The treatment was reportedly performed by dermatologist Alessandro Alarcão, using dermal fillers to improve facial contours.
Brazilian media suggests the reason behind Vinícius’s procedure was that his appearance became a topic of online discussion throughout the 2026 World Cup. Thus, right after Brazil’s early elimination, the 26-year-old player, along with his girlfriend Virginia Fonseca, visited doctor Alessandro Alarcão’s clinic to undergo the procedure.
Doctor Alarcão himself also confirmed Vinícius’s procedure by sharing a photo taken with the star on social media.
Alarcão wrote: “It is a great pleasure to welcome Vinícius Jr. to Lumini Privilege. Despite being one of world football’s most outstanding talents, he is also an exceptionally humble, polite, and energetic person.”
In recent years, many football players have opted for cosmetic procedures, ranging from dental work to hair restoration and facial treatments. Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho are among the stars who underwent well-documented dental transformations during their careers.
Hair restoration procedures have also become more common, with Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, and Virgil van Dijk having undergone treatments, although none of them have publicly confirmed these procedures.
