Neymar unexpectedly found himself entangled in allegations of insulting young teammates in the dressing room, prompting Santos management to hold an emergency meeting to determine a course of action.
Neymar is becoming the center of public attention following allegations of clashing with and insulting two young teammates at Santos, Gabriel Bontempo and Joao Ananias, during halftime of the 2-2 draw against Chapecoense on July 26.
Despite scoring both goals, the Brazilian international reportedly lost control, creating an extremely tense atmosphere right inside the dressing room while Santos was leading 1-0 after the first 45 minutes.
According to Globo Esporte, Neymar used harsh words targeting the young academy talents. Specifically, he bluntly criticized Bontempo as terrible and mockingly suggested the player would be playing in Serie B next season.
