According to HandofArsenal, Arsenal has reached a preliminary agreement with Vinicius Junior as the Brazilian star faces a deadlock regarding a contract extension with Real Madrid.
Currently, the Brazil international is in the process of negotiating a contract extension with Real Madrid, with the agreement between the two sides having only about 11 months remaining. However, talks have yet to reach a conclusion. RocNation, the agency representing Vinicius, is expected to use the offer featuring a “massive” compensation package from Arsenal as financial leverage to exert pressure on the Royal Club in upcoming rounds of negotiation.

On Real Madrid’s side, the club’s board has taken a firm stance. Reports confirm that “Los Blancos” have issued their final extension offer. The Bernabeu side emphasized that Vinicius has only two choices: either accept the new terms or be placed on the transfer market.
The 26-year-old player is expected to return to pre-season training at Valdebebas on August 3 following his post-2026 World Cup break. If an agreement is not reached, the Spanish giants are ready to listen to offers rather than risk losing one of the club’s biggest stars on a free transfer next summer.
In the event that this deal succeeds, it would be one of the most expensive signings in Premier League history. The current situation forces Real Madrid into making an early decision regarding the future of their key player.
