Arsenal have been backed to beat Liverpool to PSG winger Bradley Barcola after completing a £75 million deal for Bruno Guimaraes.
Guimaraes was introduced to Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday after completing his move from Newcastle United. He became Mikel Arteta’s third summer signing, following Christos Tzolis and Illan Meslier.
Arsenal had also targeted Vinicius Junior, but the Brazilian decided to stay at Real Madrid and signed a new contract.

Attention could now turn to PSG star Bradley Barcola. Liverpool have made the 23-year-old one of their main targets and are reportedly ready to offer around £100 million, while PSG want closer to £150 million.
Barcola is expected to consider leaving PSG after talks over a new contract slowed down. Liverpool were believed to be leading the race, but former Arsenal striker Perry Groves claims the French winger would prefer a move to London.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Groves said: “If you were Barcola and you thought, what out of those two sides have got the most chance of winning the Premier League or Champions League, at the moment you’d say it was Arsenal.”

He later added: “I’ve got a source that says he [Barcola] wants to live in London.”
Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has also encouraged Arteta to move for Barcola after completing the Guimaraes deal.
Arsenal Could Move for Another Winger
“And also Bradley Barcola… I think he would be very good for Arsenal. Barcola and Bruno Guimaraes would be a very good transfer window for Arsenal,” Frimpong said.

Arteta is interested in adding another winger after Leandro Trossard moved to Besiktas, while Arsenal have also received interest in Gabriel Martinelli.
Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League last season, 25 points behind Arsenal, who won their first league title since 2004.
