Cristiano Ronaldo left the 2026 Portugal Football Globes without receiving an individual award, creating a clear contrast with the special honour he won one year earlier.
The Portugal captain attended the ceremony in Oeiras on September 21, but his name did not appear among the winners.
That came just one year after Ronaldo received the Globe Prestígio for his legendary career and contribution to Portuguese football.
Ronaldo leaves gala without an award
The Portugal Football Globes recognise major achievements across Portuguese football, futsal and beach soccer.
Several important figures were honoured during the 2026 ceremony.
But Ronaldo was not among them.

“Stars of the Year” award.
Luís Campos was also recognised with the Globe Impacto Mundial.
Ronaldo, however, was not called onto the stage to receive an individual prize.
Ronaldo still important for Portugal at 41
Despite leaving the gala empty-handed, Ronaldo remains part of Portugal’s plans.
He was selected in Jorge Jesus’ first squad and is preparing for another Nations League campaign.
