Mohamed Salah has reportedly reached an agreement to join Trabzonspor on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano used his familiar phrase “Here we go” a few hours ago to confirm that the deal is near completion. At 34 years old, Salah is expected to sign a two-year contract with the team based at Senol Gunes Park.
Trabzonspor also confirmed the initiation of negotiation steps to quickly finalize personal terms with the forward born in 1992. The deal will be carried out on a free transfer, marking a major turning point in the Egyptian international’s career.
Salah’s decision to depart will bring an end to a glorious 9-year era on Merseyside. Since arriving at Anfield in 2017, he rose to become one of the greatest icons in Liverpool’s history.
