“I’m not thinking about retirement. My contract with Santos runs until December, and I want to give my all for the club. After that point, I will start considering my options,” Neymar shared.

Despite his contract nearing its expiration, the Brazilian forward admitted he has no concrete plans for the future. He stated that all doors remain open, from continuing to play, moving to a new club, or even calling it quits.

According to Neymar, there is still plenty of time between now and December to evaluate carefully before making a final decision. Alongside discussions about his club future, the star born in 1992 also addressed recent comments from his father regarding a potential return to the Brazil national team.

When asked about the possibility of re-emerging in a “Selecao” shirt, Neymar wittily replied: “The one playing on the pitch isn’t my dad!”

Although not confirming a return with certainty, Neymar’s attitude indicates he is not ruling out any possibility regarding his international career. For now, the superstar’s full focus remains on the remainder of the season in a Santos shirt.
