The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed the squad on October 29, 2026, ahead of matches against Japan and Singapore in November.

Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr., Barcelona forward Raphinha and young striker Endrick have all been selected.

However, Neymar has once again been left out as Ancelotti continues building a new generation of Brazilian stars.

Brazil confirm two friendlies in Singapore

According to the CBF, Brazil will travel to Singapore for their final two international matches of 2026.

The five-time world champions will face Japan on November 14 before playing Singapore on November 17.

Both matches will take place at Singapore’s National Stadium.

The meeting with Singapore will be the first-ever match between the two senior national teams.

The friendlies are part of Brazil’s preparations for the 2028 Copa America and the 2030 World Cup.

Vinicius Jr. and Raphinha lead Brazil squad

Ancelotti has selected several well-known attacking players for the November matches.

The biggest names include:

Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid)
Raphinha (Barcelona)
Endrick (Real Madrid)
Estevao (Chelsea)
Bruno Guimaraes (Arsenal)

Other important players, including Gabriel Magalhaes and Andrey Santos, have also received call-ups.

However, Neymar is not included in the 26-man squad.

The Santos forward has recently faced disciplinary problems at club level, but the CBF has not confirmed that his latest suspension was the reason for his absence.

Ancelotti makes surprising decisions for Brazil

One of the biggest talking points is Ancelotti’s decision to focus heavily on younger players.

According to the CBF, 15 of the 26 selected players are under the age of 23.

The squad also includes nine players who are young enough to compete at Olympic level.

Five players have received their first call-ups under Ancelotti’s latest plans.

The average age of the squad is just 23.6, showing Brazil’s clear focus on building a new generation.

Brazil begin preparations for a new era

After a disappointing 2026 World Cup campaign, Brazil are working to rebuild their national team.

Ancelotti wants to give younger players more international experience while keeping important stars such as Vinicius Jr. and Raphinha in the squad.

The upcoming matches in Singapore will provide another opportunity to test his new ideas.

With Neymar missing out and several young talents receiving their chance, Brazil’s November friendlies could mark another important step towards a new era under Carlo Ancelotti.
