Cristiano Ronaldo has ended his 908-day wait for a hat-trick after scoring three goals in just 15 minutes during Al Nassr’s dramatic 5-3 victory over Al Kholood on October 29, 2026.
The 41-year-old Portuguese superstar delivered an incredible second-half performance, helping his team secure an important Saudi Pro League victory.
More importantly, Ronaldo has now reached 985 official career goals, leaving him just 15 away from the historic 1,000-goal milestone.
The achievement also marks his first hat-trick since May 4, 2024, when he scored three times against Al Wehda.
Ronaldo scores three goals in just 15 minutes
Ronaldo experienced a frustrating first half after having two goals ruled out for offside.
However, the Portuguese captain responded with an impressive performance after the break.
In the 66th minute, Ronaldo scored his first goal following an assist from João Félix.
Just six minutes later, the two Portuguese stars combined again, with Ronaldo scoring a powerful header.
In the 81st minute, Sadio Mané provided the final pass as Ronaldo completed his hat-trick.

Ronaldo reacts after his historic hat-trick
Following the victory, Ronaldo shared a message on social media to celebrate his performance.
The Al Nassr captain wrote on X:
“Great win, great team performance. Happy to help with a hat-trick!”
The message showed Ronaldo’s happiness after helping his team secure another victory.
His performance also brought fresh attention to his long-term goal of reaching 1,000 career goals.
Ronaldo sends clear message about 1,000-goal target
Ronaldo has never hidden his ambition to reach the historic milestone.
During an interview with former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand in August 2024, he explained:
“I want to reach 1,000 goals.”
He also said that avoiding injuries would be important in achieving this target.
Although those comments were made in 2024 rather than after the latest match, his hat-trick has now brought that dream much closer.
With 985 official goals, Ronaldo needs only 15 more to reach the remarkable milestone.
Ronaldo continues making history at 41
Despite his age, Ronaldo continues to show impressive goalscoring ability for Al Nassr.
His latest hat-trick comes during another memorable week after he won the special Ballon d’Or of All Time fan vote, beating Lionel Messi’s legendary 2012 season.
Now, the Portuguese superstar has another major achievement within reach.
After waiting 908 days for another hat-trick, Ronaldo has proved that he can still deliver extraordinary performances. With just 15 goals remaining, the countdown to his historic 1,000th goal continues.
