Harry Kane asserts that his ultimate goal with the England national team at the 2026 World Cup is to win the championship, while making no secret of his ambition to compete for the Ballon d’Or.
The striker, born in 1993, has just enjoyed a sublime season in the colors of Bayern Munich, scoring an impressive 61 goals across all competitions. Alongside this, he secured the Bundesliga, German Super Cup, and DFB-Pokal titles after many barren years at Tottenham.
Harry Kane admits that his prolonged wait for trophies in the past has only fueled his hunger for victory. The English forward believes his move to Bayern Munich has provided him with greater opportunities to conquer major titles at the club level.
The England star also views the past season as a special milestone in his career, as the feat of scoring over 60 goals in a single season had been regarded almost exclusively as the “territory” of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in recent years.
According to Kane, the tactical freedom under manager Vincent Kompany has allowed him to better utilize his movement and contribute to the build-up play. The striker noted that dropping deep away from the penalty area often creates more space to score.
