Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal has officially become the most valuable player on the planet with a record valuation of 358 million euros, leaving today’s top global superstars far behind.
The CIES Football Observatory recently published its ranking of the 100 players with the highest transfer values in the world. According to the organization’s statistical model, Lamine Yamal is in the number one spot with a valuation of up to 358 million euros, the highest in the history of CIES rankings.

Notably, the young Barcelona star has created a massive gap compared to the rest of the pack. Erling Haaland ranks second with a value of 227 million euros, while Kylian Mbappe sits in third with 166 million euros.
Yamal topping the chart becomes even more impressive when placed alongside the 2026 Ballon d’Or race. According to GiveMeSport, Ousmane Dembele is currently the brightest candidate for this prestigious individual award following an explosive season with PSG.
The 2025 Ballon d’Or winner has scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists in 39 matches across all competitions, while consistently shining in major Champions League fixtures. However, in terms of transfer value, Dembele still trails far behind Yamal.
According to CIES, this ranking is not only based on current form but also takes into account multiple factors such as age, contract duration, developmental potential, and the player’s economic value. This is exactly why the 18-year-old Barcelona talent has surpassed established stars.
Alongside Yamal, PSG also impressed by having four players valued at over 100 million euros, including Desire Doue, Joao Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Warren Zaire-Emery. This shows that the French club possesses one of the youngest and most highly potential squads in Europe.
On the flip side, Yan Diomande is the player with the steepest value increase over the past year, rising by 75 million euros to reach 119 million euros. Meanwhile, Alexander Isak is the name with the sharpest decline, dropping by 54 million euros.
At just 18 years old, Lamine Yamal has already become a new icon for Barcelona and Spanish football. With a valuation reaching 358 million euros, this young talent not only leads the world in transfer value but also proves that he is considered the star with the most promising future in modern football.
