Three Man Utd Stars Face Heavy Criticism After Shocking Chelsea Defeat
Three Manchester United players have come under heavy criticism from fans after shocking footage emerged from their 2-0 Premier League defeat to Chelsea.
Lisandro Martínez, Harry Maguire and Andrey Santos were all criticised for their roles in Chelsea’s opening goal on October 31.
And a new video from the referee’s camera has made the situation even more embarrassing for United.
Three Man Utd players blamed for Chelsea’s opening goal
Chelsea took the lead in the 50th minute when Morgan Rogers made an impressive run through Manchester United’s defence.
The England international moved past several players before lifting the ball over goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
However, the referee-camera footage showed several defensive mistakes.
Martínez failed to stop Rogers, while Maguire also struggled to close him down.

Andrey Santos attracted particular attention after attempting a slide tackle that completely missed the Chelsea attacker.
Many United supporters were shocked by how easily Rogers moved through their defence.
Referee-camera footage sparks angry fan reactions
The unusual camera angle quickly attracted attention on social media.
Fans questioned the defending, especially Santos’ unsuccessful tackle.
“Who was Santos sliding at?” one supporter asked after watching the footage.

Other fans criticised the entire defensive line for allowing Rogers so much space.
The video added even more frustration following another disappointing Manchester United performance.
Martínez faces even more criticism after red card
Things became worse for Martínez just minutes after Chelsea’s opening goal.
The Argentine defender received two yellow cards in quick succession, with the second coming after a reckless challenge on Wesley Fofana inside the penalty area.

Cole Palmer converted the resulting penalty to give Chelsea a 2-0 victory.
Former United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel also strongly criticised Martínez, blaming him for the defeat.
Pressure grows on Michael Carrick
The defeat extended Manchester United’s winless run to nine matches across all competitions.
Michael Carrick’s side have struggled to find consistency, increasing pressure on the manager and his players.

With United sitting dangerously close to the Premier League relegation zone, fans are becoming increasingly concerned about the club’s future.
And the latest referee-camera footage has raised even more questions about the team’s defensive problems.
