Rashford just sent a massive message to Barca

Forward Marcus Rashford has made a notable move after Barcelona refused to buy him outright from MU.

On June 10, several Spanish newspapers confirmed that Barcelona will not spend 30 million euros to buy Rashford outright according to the previously agreed clause with MU. The deadline to activate this clause will expire early next week, but the management of the Camp Nou outfit is believed to have informed the 1997 born player of their decision early.

Immediately after the above information was published, Rashford deleted the name “Barcelona” from the bio section on his personal social media profile. Instead, the striker only kept the information that he is an England national team player.

The move from Barcelona means Rashford will return to MU after his loan spell ends. However, the Camp Nou side is reportedly still willing to loan Rashford for another season if MU agrees.

Instead of pursuing Rashford, Barcelona is currently focusing all its attention on the goal of strengthening the center-forward position. Julian Alvarez has been identified as the team’s top priority, although negotiations with Atletico Madrid still face many obstacles.

For his part, Rashford is currently focusing with the England national team to prepare for the 2026 World Cup campaign. The 28 year old striker wants to complete the tournament before making his next decision regarding his career future.
