Ronaldo’s Strong Response to Ten Hag’s Shocking Criticism Revealed
Cristiano Ronaldo’s reaction to Erik ten Hag’s latest criticism has finally been revealed, with the Portuguese superstar reportedly refusing to waste his time talking about his former Manchester United manager.
The 41-year-old forward became the subject of fresh controversy after Ten Hag claimed his best years had ended long ago.
Now, journalist Piers Morgan has revealed how Ronaldo reacted to those comments.
Ronaldo responds to Ten Hag’s criticism
Speaking on his Football Uncensored show, Morgan revealed that he personally asked Ronaldo about Ten Hag’s latest statements.
According to Morgan, Ronaldo had little interest in discussing his former coach.
“He didn’t think that Ten Hag was worth talking about,” Morgan explained.
The journalist suggested that Ronaldo did not want to spend any more time discussing his difficult relationship with the Dutch manager.
However, Ronaldo has not made a new public statement about Ten Hag. His reaction was reported by Morgan.
Ten Hag claims Ronaldo’s best years ended long ago
The controversy began after Ten Hag questioned Ronaldo’s ability to perform at the highest level.
Speaking to Dutch television, the former United manager suggested Ronaldo had been unable to maintain his previous standards for seven or eight years.
Ten Hag also claimed Real Madrid made the right decision by selling Ronaldo to Juventus in 2018.
His comments quickly attracted attention because of the difficult relationship between the two during their time at Manchester United.
Piers Morgan strongly defends Ronaldo
Morgan disagreed with Ten Hag’s assessment and defended the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
He reminded fans that Ronaldo scored 18 Premier League goals and six Champions League goals during his final full season at Manchester United.
Morgan believes Ronaldo could have continued scoring goals for United for another two or three years under a different manager.
He also accused Ten Hag of treating the Portuguese forward unfairly during their time together.
Ronaldo refuses to continue the argument
Ronaldo and Ten Hag had a difficult relationship before the striker left Manchester United in November 2022.
The Portuguese legend later joined Al Nassr, where he continues his pursuit of 1,000 career goals.
Despite Ten Hag’s latest criticism, Ronaldo appears unwilling to restart their public argument.
And according to Morgan, the message from the Portuguese superstar is clear: his former manager is simply not worth discussing.
