Speaking out after the speculations about his future from his sister, Cristiano Ronaldo affirmed that he will only make a decision after careful discussion with his family.
Previously, Ronaldo’s sister, Katia Aveiro, attracted attention when affirming that this would be CR7’s “last dance” on the world stage: “It will be very difficult to find anyone like him”. This statement immediately sparked a wave of speculation that the Portugal captain would say goodbye to the national team right after the World Cup.
Answering an interview with the Sport TV channel regarding this matter, Ronaldo appeared calm and did not provide any specific timeline.
He affirmed: “Cristiano’s future is not important right now. I will talk… I will have time, after winning or losing, I will talk to my family and then I will make the best decision. I no longer make decisions in the heat of the moment, now everything is done calmly. Now, the important thing is to enjoy today”.
