Cristiano Ronaldo’s Club Makes Touching Gesture After Tragic Football Death
Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the football world in mourning the tragic death of Spanish footballer Jesús de Miguel, while a club partly owned by the Portuguese superstar has announced a touching gesture.

The 30-year-old Tenerife striker died on November 3 after suffering a serious collision during a match against FC Andorra.
His death has left players, clubs and supporters across the football world deeply saddened.
Ronaldo sends emotional message after tragic death
Following the heartbreaking news, Ronaldo shared a black-and-white photograph of De Miguel on his Instagram Story.
“A tragedy. No words… Sending strength to his family. Rest in peace,” Ronaldo wrote.

Lionel Messi also sent his condolences, joining several football stars in paying tribute to the late striker.
Ronaldo’s club announces special support for family
On November 4, UD Almería announced an important decision to support De Miguel’s family.
The Spanish club will donate 100% of its ticket revenue from its home match against Tenerife on Matchday 34 to the player’s family.

Ronaldo owns a 25% stake in Almería, which he acquired in February 2026.
However, the club confirmed that the donation was an initiative of president Mohammed Al Khereiji, rather than a personal decision announced by Ronaldo.
Almería also invited De Miguel’s family to attend the match if their circumstances allow.
A touching moment for the football world
The club explained that no amount of money could replace a loved one, but it hoped the gesture would show support during this difficult time.
Ronaldo’s emotional message and Almería’s decision have highlighted how the football community can come together during a tragedy.
At a time of great sadness, the focus remains on remembering Jesús de Miguel and supporting his family.
