Real Madrid has just issued an official announcement to dispel speculations about signing Michael Olise from Bayern Munich.
The root of the matter stemmed from reports suggesting that President Florentino Perez had prepared a minimum budget of 150 million euros to bring a new “Galactico” to the Bernabeu. Olise, a star shining brightly in the colors of Bayern Munich and the French national team, was unexpectedly mentioned as the number one transfer target. There were even predictions that the price tag could reach a world-record threshold of 200 to 220 million euros.
However, Real Madrid quickly released a decisive written response. In a statement on their official website, the club affirmed: “Real Madrid wishes to confirm that there has been absolutely no direct or indirect contact with the player Michael Olise, his agent, or his team.” The club emphasized that the information circulating over the past period is completely inconsistent with reality.
Besides denying the transfer deal, Real Madrid also particularly highlighted their excellent cooperative relationship with Bayern Munich. The statement clearly stated that mutual respect and trust between the two clubs remain the top priority.
According to the rules of the Royal club, any interest shown toward a player under contract with a partner club must be addressed directly between the two boards of directors before taking any further steps.
